My color pallet was guided by the colors in the photograph, warm golds, reds, tempered by the cooler
blues and greens of the costumes. With the exception of most of the text, navigation, and logo, I chose analogous colors
on the RGB color wheel, as I find them easier on the eyes on monitors. The secondary colors of the costumes balance
the warm colors of the rest of the page.
I simplified the navigation with typography,
using a font from the same family as the the logo and extending the lines within the logo with the text pathways, resulting
in clear navigation while moving a bit beyond typical square box navigation. The top navigation, being a bit more straightforward
are the most important information. The heirarchy of the left navigation is in order of importance. It's typography
& pattern are also related to the shapes in the logo. The background is a very slight gradient echoing the shape
of the main image.
